About
UX/UI, Product & Brand Designer. I design thoughtful digital experiences through story, systems, and visual identity — and I build them, too.
Background
I'm a designer working across UX/UI, product, and brand, with a hybrid skillset that lets me take an idea from research and strategy all the way to a working product. My work lives at the intersection of research, systems thinking, and visual craft — I care about creating experiences that don't just look good, but actually work for the people using them.I also build. Using AI-assisted development tools, I've gone beyond static mockups to ship functional prototypes — designing and coding products end to end. That builder's mindset changes how I approach problems: I think in systems and real constraints, not just screens, which matters most when the thing being designed is complex or evolving.
Accessibility isn't an afterthought in my process — it's a starting point. I've designed for users with mobility disabilities, seniors, and everyday people navigating complex tasks, and that range has shaped how I think about every design decision.
My design sensibility is rooted in my Japanese heritage — a culture where thoughtful, human-centered detail is woven into everyday life — and in a childhood where I learned best through story, visuals, and systems. That early sense of what makes an experience easier to understand, navigate, and remember is still what drives my work today.
